Ground Source Heat Pumps
How does the Ground Source Heat Pump work with my existing system?
The GSHP system will completely replace your existing energy sources for heating and hot water. Because the heating output is relatively low when compared to conventional systems, the system works best with under-floor heating. This makes it an ideal heating system for new builds. However most properties existing heating systems can be adapted by increasing the emitter area (radiators) enabling them to benefit from these systems. All properties need to be well insulated as described in part “L” of the building regulations.
How much does it cost?
Each Solar Future Ground Source Heat Pump system is tailored to your individual circumstances and needs, so no definitive figure can be given. However, we can say that GSHP systems last for over 20 years and pay for themselves in about 5; they come with a 2-year warranty; generous government grants are available for these systems; and the heat collectors, heat pumps and installation attract only 5% VAT.
What is the next step?
Solar Future would be delighted to meet you at your premises OR TALK THROUGH THE SYTEM OVER THE PHONE, in order to discuss how Ground Source Heat Pumps could benefit you. We would then supply you with a quotation, which, if it met with your approval, would be followed by a site survey, then installation, commissioning and testing.
